Taylor Swift decided to go cruelty-free for the 72nd British Academy Film and Television Arts (BAFTAs) by wearing a vegan dress.
In her new Instagram post, Swift is seen looking like a princess wearing a vegan baby blue chiffon dress created by Stella McCartney and partnered with drop earrings and delicate rings.
“AHHHHH @thefavouritemovie just won 7 @bafta awards !!! Bout to go give some high fives – thanks @stellamccartney for this dressss,” Swift wrote on the post.
The pop star attended the BAFTAs to support her partner Joe Alwyn, who is part of the ceremony’s big winner The Favourite.
Aside from Swift, McCartney also designed the outfit of celebrities Nathalie Emmanuel, who wore a gold pleated top and skirt; Timothée Chalamet, who wore organic cotton “Idol” t-shirt; and Felicity Jones, who wore a silver sequinned dress.
Black Panther’s Letitia Wright also chose a cruelty-free outfit from McCartney — opting for a white tuxedo over a dress.
She won the BAFTA Rising Star Award, the only award voted on by the public, for her role as Shuri, the princess of Wakanda and scientific genius that could rival Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.
Late last year, McCartney launched a United Nations fashion industry charter to fight climate change.
The charter, which launched on December 10 at annual fashion industry conference Voices in Poland, aims to help fashion brands to move toward a more ethical and sustainable path.
